It's one of the hardest things to do when designing a parish bulletin, newsletter, brochure, or especially a website.
One thing you may not know about me is that I'm colorblind. "I SPY" books were my worst nightmare growing up as a kid. Over the years, and throughout my professional career, I've relied on expensive spectrometers and color matching books just to get me through.
Luckily there is an easy and free solution to help you pick great colors. It's called Color, and it's made by Adobe.
Color will allow you to search popular color palettes to use on your design projects, and give you the computer values that you need for your favorite programs and editing software. You can search for specific colors like gold, navy, etc.
One of my favorite features is taking an image that I know will be used on a project and uploading it to the site. Kuler will then take colors from my image and show me corresponding and complementary color palettes. This is great because i know that my design and images will go great together.
We'd love to see some of your designs so please share them on our eCatholic Facebook and Twitter page. If this helped you or if you have any questions, feel free to comment below. We'd love to hear from you. Don't forget to share this with your team.
