Time for a more substantial update? We're here to help! Here are two ways to start:
Damascus veers away from the traditional horizontal navigation bar and replaces it with vertical navigation. This feature displays your interior page menus every time a user selects the stacked lines icon in the upper corner of your website. Your menus will remain hidden until the icon is selected and subpages appear as menu categories are expanded.
Similar to how all eCatholic mobile site menus appear, the vertical navigation offers the same user experience on every viewing device. This vertical menu concept offers another way to provide a clean appearance atop all your website content.

The header region is an essential area as it prominently positions your brand as the first item that welcomes visitors. The Damascus theme allows you to change the position of your site name between left, centered, or right alignments from within your header setting options. When selecting your site name's position, your vertical menu icon and quick links will automatically adjust to places that make the most sense for their purpose.

One of Damascus’ major design elements is the large brush stroke design underneath the homepage feature region, all interior page titles, above the footer region, and as a styling option for sections. This subtle touch, spanning edge to edge on your screen, draws visitors’ attention to the content below and ties together all major elements between the header and footer.
