Catholic website design made easy with Verona

The Verona theme is now available in the eCatholic Design Studio! If you have an eCatholic website hosting package, you can update your site's design to Verona (or any of our other free themes) today! Then, customize the Verona theme with:

• One of eight pre-built color palettes (or you can use your own custom colors!)
• Several homepage layout options, including custom button regions
• Photos or video in the homepage feature region

Here are a few tips that will help you get started with the Verona theme.

Build a beautiful homepage feature region

With Verona, you can configure your homepage feature region to display one of the following types of content:

• One or more still images
• A looping video file.

In fact, adding a video to your homepage feature region is as simple as copy-and-paste. With this feature, you can choose to have the video play automatically, and you can hide the video controls if you wish. Watch your beautiful new homepage come to life!

Explore the header settings

Verona's solid header design complements its timeless appeal. For example, you can configure the header settings to display a text-only site name (e.g., Holy Trinity Catholic Church) or upload a custom logo.

You can also use the Site Map Editor to build Mega Menu Groups, which will work well with Verona's "sticky" navigation bar. As your desktop visitors scroll down your site's pages, Verona's navigation bar will "stick" to the top of the screen, helping visitors easily access your main navigation items at all times.

Customize the layout of your interior pages

It's obviously important to design a beautiful homepage, but what about all the other pages on your website? With Verona, you can select custom layouts for your interior pages. Use this option to add a row of buttons, create a full-width content area, and select other layouts that will enhance your pages!
