Product Manager

If so, we're currently looking for an experienced product manager to join our team. In this role, you'll help create and guide the development of innovative and intuitive software used by Catholic parishes and dioceses. If you thrive in data-rich environments and have a knack for translating complex data challenges into intuitive user experiences, this role is for you.
 

What You'll Be Doing

Key responsibilities for this role:

• Vision & Strategy: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on deep customer insights and market analysis
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to drive product decisions, measure product performance, and optimize user experiences
• User-Centered Design: Conduct UX interviews, gather feedback, and utilize design thinking to create compelling and efficient user interfaces
• Agile Methodologies: Work as a Product Owner on a scrum team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features
• Requirements & Documentation: Define detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to provide clear direction to the engineering team
• Quality Assurance: Work alongside the QA team to prioritize, troubleshoot, and ensure the delivery of a low defect product
• Stakeholder Management: Interface with stakeholders, gather feedback, and manage expectations to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables
• Be a part of a team that dreams big to design solutions to help the Catholic Church solve real problems as we move into the future

 

What We're Looking For:

Below is the list of qualifications we are looking for in the ideal candidate.

Got to have these:

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager and Product Owner
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features, and drive management of product
• Demonstrated experience conducting user interviews and utilizing design thinking methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles 
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Creative thinker with a vision

Big plus if you also have these:

• Bachelors or Masters degree
• 2+ years experience in directing wireframing and rapid prototyping efforts
• 2+ years experience in development of SaaS products or enterprise applications
• Familiarity with operations within the Catholic Church

• Build software for existing and new eCatholic products
• Collaborate with team members on problem-solving
• Participate in weekly developer and company meetings
• Conduct ongoing analysis to anticipate and prevent potential IT threats or malicious attacks
• Help to design technical architectures
• Constantly improve your skills in writing code that is more correct, bug-free, and performant.
• Be a part of a team that dreams big to design solutions to help the Catholic Church solve real problems as we move into the future

 

What We're Looking For:

Below is the list of qualifications we are looking for in the ideal candidate.

Got to have these:

• Bachelors or Masters in computer science, computer engineering, or comparable work experience
• Experience developing web-based database driven applications
• Experience developing scalable REST APIs
• Experience developing microservices
• Experience with multi-tier backend application development
• An aptitude for learning new programming languages, skills, and technologies
• Thrive working in remote agile development environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven organizational and time management skills

Big plus if you also have these:

• 3+ years experience in development of SaaS products or enterprise applications
• Extensive experience in server architecture and management, particularly Windows server administration or Azure Web Services
• Familiarity with operations within the Catholic Church
